with those tiles, i was thinking maybe you shoudl just do everything else white, and then have colorful accents, like your soap dish, towels, shower liner. it seems like someone really likes those tiles.
i hope the toilet is the same color as the sink.
the dark brown color came out of nowhere. if you’re going to do the brown light and the brown mirror, then more things should also be that dark mahogany color, e.g. wastebasket, cups. i also think you should do an intermediate shade of tan somewhere else in your color scheme, like a different tile color with white walls, or even dark (stone-looking?) tiles for the floor (gray caulk instead of white).
also, for the mirror, the brown one doesn’t look like there’s any storage behind it. in that case, you’ll need an extra shelf somewhere. Above the toilet maybe?
not a fan of light fixture b. i guess i need to see how the light looks coming out of it. don’t really like light fixture a either. it doesn’t match the simplicity of the other things.
i like the b towel bar, b toilet paper holder, and either a/b hooks.
this is headache-inducing… i am starting to feel for you. i can’t even choose where i want to live in two months, much less the details of my accommodations once i get there.
i do have to weigh in on choice a for the toilet-paper holder though. b towel bar. a hooks. b mirror looks easier to clean? and a light fixtures looks more like light fixtures than do b.
y’know, after taking some time to actually read the stuff i write on this site, it occurs to me that i need a heavier font or something cause i’m sure reading this site at 1600×1200 pretty much sucks.
so, any suggestions for another mono-spaced font? someone kick me a css rule.

I can’t even get in on the ground floor of this conversation.
Also, I like how interior decorating is being discussed on a blog with black background, white monospaced text.

with those immovable pieces (hopefully toilet not that color), you’d have to do A and go traditional.
(sigh)

get it? i said butt. toilet. butt.

Wow, home depot advice from Johm. This is like having Bob Vila comment on your blog.
Except he’s using toilet humor.
get it? toilet. humor.
