On hair . . .

So, the move-in date is fast approaching and the number of people imploring me to keep the ‘fro has increased dramatically. oddly, some of these cries have included overtures of taking me to some beauty salon or something . . .
In response, allow me to list the cons of keeping the hair:

  1. tired of being attacked by birds thinking my hair is their nest or another bird. (appropriately, there’s a YPN ad about bird repellers showing up every now and then on the right.  go Y!)
  2. tired of trying to put on a set of earbuds and ending up stuffing my ears full of hair
  3. tired of feeling like someone is constanty tapping me on the back of my neck
  4. tired of hearing, “did you get a perm?”
  5. tired of hearing, “are the seventies back?”

That being said, i am oddly curious as to how far i can take this long hair thing. I think i will soon pass the lion’s mane phase and head dangerously close to fabio territory.

    Are you one of those wavy-hair chinese people? I had no idea.

    Also, I would like to renew the demand for photos. or is this thing going to last to ian’s coming out party and is another reason I should fly over?

    i second the photos. we must document this.
    not all fabios have flowing manes. my fabio friend is bald.

    photos on the way. camera was in paris, then took an unexpected detour through washington d.c. the phone camera doesn’t do the ‘fro justice. However, if you are impatient, bug The Grogan for the picture.
