Home, at last

Monday, May 15th, 2006

Last night, I ate dinner in my kitchen made from my food in my refrigerator off of my dishes using my utensils. Washed my dishes in my sink. Did my laundry with my degertent and my washing machine. Worked on my patch panel in my garage while sipping my scotch. Then, took a shower in my bathroom and went to bed in my room using. . . someone else’s sleeping bag.

I woke up this morning, smelling like “new home,” to the sound of my stereo, playing my music at the volume of my choosing. Stepped into my bathroom with floors heated to a nice 85 degrees and got ready for work.

Home. At last. For now.
