The Chubury clan paid a visit this past weekend which seemed the perfect occasion to break in the new grill. The plan came together around noon as the first games of the day were finishing up. I made a break for the store between the 1pm and 6pm games to pick up all the supplies. rib eye steak, check. charcoal, check. tongs, check. measuring cups, check. measuring spoons, check. soy sauce, check. garlic, check.I got home, threw the marinade together, and started soaking the steaks. Jeff and Helen were kind enough to bring the rest.

The grill was a bit hotter than anticipated which led to on charred steak, but all in all, a good first outing.
