KQED radio, our local NPR affiliate and one of the top two public radio stations in the nation (new york being the other), is in the middle of their pledge drive right now. They’re looking to raise about 1.5 million and they’re getting awfully close. So, if you got some spare cash lying around, i’m sure they’d appreciate it. Plus, you could find yourself with a copy of the The New York Times Practical Guide to Practically Everything, which, is like, a dream come true . . . or something.
