Money For Grabs
Wednesday, December 20th, 2006I got back to my desk after a meeting and found an envelope on my chair. wasn’t sure were it came from. The print on the evelope: Handle With Care. Holiday Cheer Inside. Turns out that this year Jerry’s and Dave’s annual gift to us is a chance to give $100 to the charity of our choice. Apparently, i was the only one who didn’t understand this at first glance. My original impression was that we had $100 to spend at the company store which, in turn, would be given to a charity. It might have had something to do with the pictures of a sleeping bag, a blanket, and a jacket on the card inside the envelope, which, apparently, were previous annual gifts . . . I guess i was here for the jacket gift, but i just didn’t put it together. subtlety escapes me sometimes.
Anyway, on to the meat of the subject. I have a $100. Do you know of a good charity?

Can’t remember if you were there at the time, but the AITGOC’ers, after some research, chose to Save the Children.
I wonder if that kid in Mozambique still gets our love.

As of a few months ago, AITGOC was still sponsoring their child. It hit my credit card. I’d suggest:
CureSearch National Childhood Cancer Foundation
