Sunday, May 27th, 2007One of the upsides of a four hour commute is that you get to listen to a lot of radio. In my case, it’s the local NPR affiliate KQED. Anyway, a couple months ago i was fortunate enough to listen to Amory Lovins speaking at the World Affairs Council, sponsored by google (he has a $20,000 speakers fee).
Anyway, if you have a free hour, this is an incredibly insightful lecture about scientific and market driven solutions to our oil dependence and how we might not be so far away from achieving them. It’s a nice break for all the doom and gloom that’s been making it’s way around. So, here it is:
